NanoSniff Technologies wins the prestigious IESA Technovation Award 2012 for the most promising startup, awarded by the Indian Electronics & Semiconductor Association (Formerly known as ISA – Indian Semiconductor Association). This award focuses on highlighting innovation and technical excellence achieved by a startup company in the ESDM space. Competing with industries from all over the country, and judged by jury comprising of the most renowned leaders from Industry and Academia, NanoSniff was presented this award at the recently concluded ISA Vision Summit, Bangalore – Feb 14 and 15, 2013.

NanoSniff Technologies launches OmniCant, a lab instrument for analyzing the response of nanomaterials and MEMS sensors to gases and Volatile Organic Compounds, at 5th Bangalore Nano Conference. Mr. Nehul Gullaiya, the Chief Operating Officer of NanoSniff, introduced OmniCant as a part of his presentation for the RICH (Research Industry Collaboration Hub) Programme at the Conference. OmniCant received an overwhelming response from both the academia as well as the industry and started generating sales inquiries at the conference itself.

June 6, 2012:

NanoSniff unveiled OmniCant – a MEMS sensor experimentation platform at the 9th International Workshop on Nanomechanical Sensing (NMC 2012) held at IIT Bombay. NMC focuses on new developments, investigations and applications of cantilever based sensors, cantilever systems engineering and other nanomechanical sensing techniques, providing a unique forum for specialists in this field to interact and engage in discussion.

OmniCant was displayed & demonstrated for the first time and received a tremendous response and appreciation from the research fraternity including Prof. Anja Boisen (DTU Nanotech), Prof. Jurgen Fritz (Jacobs University) & Prof. Thomas Thundat (University of Alberta) who are also the members of the International Steering Committee for NMC.
